The deadline to pre-register for media credentials has passed. No new credentialing applications will be processed

Credentials will not be confirmed via phone or email. You must appear in person to verify and collect your individual credential

Presidential Debate, Arizona State University in Tempe, Ariz., October 13, 2004

If you have pre-registered, credentials may be picked up on site in Suite 201 of the University Center. The University Center is an off-campus facility located at:

Tempe, AZ 85281

The University Center is located just east of Rural Road on University Drive. View Mapquest information on how to reach the University Center.

Hours of operation for the Credentialing Center are as follows:

  • Sunday, October 10: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Monday, October. 11: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Tuesday, October 12: 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.
  • Wednesday, October 13: 7 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Individuals are required to present a government issued photo ID.

After receiving proper credentials, please proceed from the University Center to the shuttle lot at Phoenix Municipal Stadium. Shuttle service begins Sunday, October 10, at 9 a.m. Continuous shuttle service begins on debate day at 12:01 a.m. and will continue until late evening.

Media may drop off their equipment at the Gammage Auditorium entrance at the northwest corner of Forest Avenue and Apache Boulevard.

Media may drive personal cars or take hotel or public transportation to the shuttle site. To board the shuttle, you must hold a valid debate media credential and pass an on-site security screening.

Driving directions to the stadium from the University Center are as follows:

Go WEST on E. University Dr. for 1.1 miles.
Turn RIGHT onto S. Mill Avenue and proceed for 2 miles.
The shuttle lot is at the intersection of S. Mill Avenue and N. Priest Drive.
Park in the center section at light pole E.
After exiting the shuttle, check in at Media Filing Center.

The Media Filing Center is located at the Gammage Auditorium on campus (located on the northeast corner of Mill Avenue and Apache Boulevard).

Hours of operations for the media filing center are as follows:

  • Sunday, October 10: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Monday, October. 11: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Tuesday, October 12: 8 a.m. – 11 p.m.
  • Wednesday, October 13: 5 a.m. – 2 a.m
